Information Theory and some friendly neighbors - ein Wunschkonzert

August is the last month of the intensive work period in which the ZiF hosted the Research Group General Theory of Information Transfer and Combinatorics. One of the highlights of its activities will be the symposium "INFORMATION THEORY AND SOME FRIENDLY NEIGHBORS - EIN WUNSCHKONZERT" in the week August 11-15. Here, leading experts will talk about one of their favorite subjects - not necessarily covered by information theory in a wide sense, but with some relations to it.
