How to find us

Location of the Department of Mathematics:

The lectures will take place in room V2-210/216.

The rooms of the department are located on the third, fourth and fifth floor in the V part of the main building (UHG) on the campus of the University of Bielefeld.

How to reach Bielefeld and the University:

Airports:

Bielefeld can be reached by train from the following airports:

Düsseldorf (DUS) within 1.5h
Hannover (HAJ) within 1.5h
Cologne (CGN) within 2h
Berlin (SXF/TXL) within 3h
Frankfurt (FRA) within 3h

By train:

Every hour an intercity train on the route Cologne-Hannover stops at Bielefeld central station.
Then you take the city railway "Stadtbahnlinie 4" to Universität (7 minutes).

For further information and timetables, please consult the Travel Service of the "Deutsche Bahn"

By car:

You can take the A 2 from Dortmund to Hannover and exit at "Bielefeld-Zentrum". Follow the street signs towards the city center ("Zentrum") and from there, the University ("Universität") is signposted.
