Public Transport:
The tram "Linie 4" goes
directly from the hotel "Mercure am
Niederwall" (station named "Rathaus"
opposite of the hotel) to the
university.
Thus you can use the same tram every day from the hotel to the
university and back. Trams run every 10 to 15 minutes until
after midnight.
Tickets can be obtained from the machines at each
station by pressing "1" and inserting coins: 1.90 Euro
for a
single ticket, 5.70 Euro for a booklet of four tickets (choose "1" in
the second square of the machine marked by a big number "4" for
the "4er-Ticket"). On boarding the tram, validate your ticket by
inserting it into the slots of the stamp machines that are located near
the doors.
