• The function alg_heralg converts a hereditary algebra given by means of the quiverdata structure used by the heralg package into the intermediary format used by the CREP-function get_alg.

• The conversion will work only if the given quiverdata structure contains no symbolic expressions for the multiplicities of arrows, i.e. all multiplicities have to evaluate to integers.

• In particular, the functions alg_heralg and get_alg together can be used to obtain a graphical display of a hereditary algebra without symbolic multiplicities. For displaying hereditary algebras in general see the function drw_heralg.

• Although meant for use with the CREP-package heralg for hereditary algebras, the function alg_heralg uses some internal parts of the main package of CREP. Therefore, unlike the functions of the heralg package themselves, the function alg_heralg cannot be used without the main package.
