The Animations ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ) are thought to serve as a tool of illustration rather than of numerical science. It provides the possibility to visualize phenomena like e.g. the bifurcation delay or stochastic resonance .

Implementation in Javascript using Animation-Frame framework with HTML5 Canvas and jQuery-library support. For math font MathJax translates Tex syntax to HTML.

...about technical implementation

At best, the animation works at 60 frames per second which naturally serves as fineness of time discretisation. The horizontal (spatial) axis is discretised in 100 steps.
