2nd Bielefeld Workshop on
Quantum Information and Complexity
October 12 - 14, 2000
Workshop Announcement:
We call for contributions to the 2nd Bielefeld Workshop on
Quantum Information and Complexity.
Topics cover all aspects of quantum information theory, including
quantum channel problems, quantum source coding, entanglement theory,
quantum algorithms, quantum cryptography, quantum games, properties of
quantum entropy and related functionals, especially additivity questions,
operator theory and inequalities, and new quantum protocols.
Contributions should be no longer than 30 minutes, leaving enough
time for discussion. Titles of talks (and a short abstract) should
be sent by email or by conventional mail to

My recommendation is the Hotel Mercure (Niederwall 31-35,
33602 Bielefeld, fon: +49 521 5253 0, fax: +49 521 5253 444),
which has university rates of DM 115,- for a single, and
offers the best connections of public transport, besides
being located downtown.
Note that we have guaranteed only a limited number of
rooms, and only until September, 25. After this date the
Hotel Mercure may be booked out!
