On the occasion of the 60th birthday of
the Sonderforschungsbereich "Discrete Structures in Mathematics"
organizes a symposium
Numbers, Information and Complexity
on October 8 - 11, 1998
with invited lectures on Combinatorics, Combinatorial Number Theory,
Information Theory, and applications of these fields in Computer Science.
Leading experts will report on recent developments and outline
future directions of research.
There will be a special colloquium dinner on Friday, October 9, in honour of Prof. Rudolf Ahlswede.
