Conference Venue

The conference will be held in the X building of Bielefeld University (Google Maps link).

All lectures will be held in X-E-001. There will be signs guiding you from the the tram station to the lecture hall.

We reserved the nearby seminar rooms X-E-200 and X-E-201 for discussions amongst the participants during the conference.

Getting to the University

The distance between the university and the main station of Bielefeld is about 4km. From the train station, you can take the tram No. 4 (direction "Lohmannshof"), which takes you to the University within 8 minutes.

You have to buy the ticket in advance at the ticket machine before you go to the platform (cash or card). For an individual ticket you have to chose the options "Einzelticket, Preisstufe 1 Bielefeld". It currently costs 3,00€. If you are already aware of the fact that you will use public transport more often, it's worth buying a so-called "4er-Ticket" for the price of 9,60€, which entitles you to four trips.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will be held at Jivino Enoteca on Wednesday at 19:00pm (Obernstraße 51, Google Maps link).

Problem Session

Covid Policy

We ask and encourage all participants to wear face masks indoors during the lectures.

Masks are required when using local and long-distance public transport in Germany.

If you have Covid symptoms, take a home test. These are generally available in pharmacies and stores such as REWE, Edeka, dm, Rossman etc. However, their availability varies and it might be useful to bring a few tests with you. We will have a small supply of tests at the conference in case of emergencies.

If you test positive, do not come to the conference venue. Notify organizers and your contacts.
