Summer school on formulas of Siegel and Weil

The summer school is about formulas of Siegel and Weil and its impact in the theory of sphere packings, number theory, and geometry. The summer school takes place at Bielefed University.

Precourse

During the week preceding the summer school (September 24-26), there will be a three day long series of prepatory talks on Zoom. Topics will include adeles, Arakelov theory, (orthogonal) modular forms, orthogonal Shimura varieties, ... More details will follow soon.

Registration

Registration is open until June 15th (if you apply for funding) and August 15th (if you do not apply for funding).

We are able to offer (partial) funding for a limited number of participants. To apply for financial support, you will need to provide us with a short CV and a description of your motivation (both included in the registration form). Moreover, a letter of recommendation is required. Please ask the letter writer to send the letter to one of the organizers.
