This term, our Oberseminar is about Hodge loci. The goal is to understand recent advances on the study of Hodge locus as in the article of Baldi, Klingler and Ullmo, and in particular how results of functional transcendence (Ax-Schanuel theorems) are used. Preliminaries include the study of variations of Hodge structures and period maps. A description of the Oberseminar is available here and a complete program is available here.
