From the station to the Arcadia Hotel

From the train station, you can reach the hotel by the following means:

• A short taxi cab ride. You'll find the taxi cabs at the exit "Bahnhofsplatz" (there are only two exits).
  
  
• Taking the local tramway to the stop "Rathaus". The hotel is right at the stop, you cannot miss it.
  
  
• A 15-minute walk. Use the exit "Bahnhofsplatz", turn right and walk past the taxi cabs. Keep walking parallel to the train line in the same direction. At the traffic light enter the pedestrian zone. Continue always in the same direction. At the next traffic light, you'll come to a big and ugly square. Cross the road and still continue in the same direction, on the left-hand side of the street. You will pass the Old Townhall and the Theatre. The hotel is in the next building. (local map)
  
  

From the Arcadia Hotel to the University

To go to the university from the hotel, take Line 4 in front of the hotel and go to the stop Universität. The tram ride takes about ten minutes, with trams running at least every ten minutes. You can find more information on public transportation and tickets here.

Wernings Weinstube can be reached from the Arcadia Hotel by a short walk through the pedestrian zone: Exit the hotel, cross the tracks of the tramway and walk down Rathausstraße. When your reach Alter Markt, you will see the old theatre on the right-hand side. Take the steps down to Wernings Weinstube. (local map)
