Christian Leiste — Die Arithmetik und Algebra — displays on the first page behind the book cover a reference to Stirling. The second page states right after the beginnung: "M. de la Grange dans son excellent Memoir sur la resolution des equation numeriques, apres avoir montree que sa methode fait connoitre le racine commensurable non Gauss's copy of provides the crossed out symbol &equiv"; between pages 78 and 79; after page 108 appears the Theorema generale demonstrandum. It strikes that after the last page of the scripture appears a handwritten page having the caption Ideal.
